4th Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) and 2nd College of Dentistry, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) International Dental Conference – 29 September to 2 October 2013.
The conference was held at the KSAU-HS Convention Center, Riyadh and a welcome address was given by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, KSAU-HS and concurrent Chairman of Dental Services, Central Region, KAMC-Ministry of NGHA – Dr. Ali Al Ehaideb. Joining Dr. Ehaideb to grace the occasion was Dr. Saad Al Mohrij, Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of NGHA and Dr. Abdulrahman Al Fayez, Dean, Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs, KSAU-HS.
The Conference featured different presentation series highlighting the progress and challenges in all dental care specialties, e.g. bonegraft and dental implant, botox, treatment of dentofacial deformities, all-on-4 concept that allows for the rehabilitation of fully edentulous patients in just a few hours with no need for bone grafting technique, soft tissue management, etc, given by distinguished international experts from Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Columbia, United Kingdom, and United States of America; as well as to the regional speakers from Lebanon and national speakers.
The 4th International College of Dentists Meeting for District 2 of Middle East Section was also part of the Conference. Induction ceremony for the new members was conducted.
