Thus, helping our community to constantly have up-to-date knowledge and skills to be able to perform the best in education, research, patient care, and community service.

Unit Mission

To offer state-of-the art lifelong learning experiences for all our COD members not only in dentistry but also in professional and self-development.  We endeavor to provide a variety of programs designed for all fields to help our members find the best tools and latest techniques for their professional needs, leading to superior education, research, patient care, community service and a more enjoyable daily practice.

Unit Objectives

  • Assess needs of COD members regularly for CPD.
  • Plan CPD activities responsive to the need’s assessment of COD members.
  • Organize announcement, registration processes, and execution of CPD activities.
  • Collaborate with other COD units and committees to conduct well-organized CPD activities.
  • Collect data and provide annual reports of all training activities conducted at COD.
  • Collect data and provide annual reports of all training activities attended by COD members outside COD.
  • Continuously monitor performance and assess quality of CPD activities at COD, and design and implement improvement plans as needed.
