Dr. Christian Stohler, Dean of the School of Dentistry of the University of Maryland graced the College of Dentistry with his presence last 21-23 April 2013 in line with the Inauguration of the new campus of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Science – Riyadh Campus. Views were exchanged and plans were shared during the closed-door meeting between Dr. Stohler and the College of Dentistry administration led by Dr. Ali Al Ehaideb, Dean of the College of Dentistry in his 3-day visit. Afterwards, Dr. Stohler sat with Dr. Ehaideb and the students to discuss and observe new technologies intended for the development of dental education such as the Blackboard and the Mediasite.
Dr. Stohler also attended the inauguration of the new campus of the University accompanied by Dr. Ehaideb. Joining them were Dr. Khalid Al Fouzan, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Dr. Khalid Al Shaloub, Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and various University officials led by His Excellency Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, President of the University. The inauguration opened with the presence of his HRH Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Commander of the Saudi National Guard under the auspices of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
