As professionals, we are obligated to practice the concept of lifelong learning, for this, Faculty Enhancement and Professional Development Unit at the College of Dentistry, KSAU-HS is committed to providing quality, timely and innovative lectures/workshops through an enriching and collaborative environment, featuring the latest advances in science and technology that allow all faculty and auxiliary staff to stay current with newest knowledge and advances in the field of dentistry.

Objectives

To establish quality dental continuous education courses and workshops for faculty to update and enhance their knowledge and skills.
To provide faculty with customized training programs on newest equipment/technique in field of dentistry.
Professional development of individual faculty members in their responsibilities as educators, researchers, and administrators.
To establish courses to integrate technology into teaching, learning, research and master new computer based educational programs.
To implement leadership, management, and soft skills courses for the faculty to enhance teaching performance that will be reflected on learning outcomes for students.
To consider other matters pertinent to faculty enhancement.

Our Services

Organizing continuing education courses and workshops.
Follow deanery guidance on allocating of training for trainees (super user training).
Providing periodic training courses to fulfill University/Hospital employee development requirements.
Arranging registration process.
Advertising the course to related specialties.
Monitor the feedback from training courses.
Monitor attendance to educational activities.
